Mountz Manually Operated Torque Screwdrivers
Mountz manually operated torque screwdrivers are precision hand tools designed to tighten screws and other small threaded fasteners to a controlled torque.
The torque on a manually operated torque screwdriver is applied by the operator, making these tools suitable for lower-volume fastening and assembly work where accurate torque control is required. Mountz manually operated torque screwdrivers use a cam-over mechanism that slips when the set torque is reached, helping to prevent additional torque being applied to the fastener, with the mechanism automatically resetting for the next fastening cycle.
The Mountz range includes FG preset and FGA adjustable models that have 1/4" hex drives, with torque ranges extending from 9cNm up to 14.1Nm. FG screwdrivers have no external adjustment scale and are set internally using a torque analyser, while FGA models feature a digital torque scale and an external adjustment mechanism.
