Torque Sensors
A torque sensor is also known as a 'torque transducer' and is a precision torque measuring tool that converts torque into an electrical signal that can then be read by a human, and is used to measure rotational force (torque) applied to a shaft, tool or fastener, such as a nut or bolt.
There are different types of torque sensors, such as inline, flange-mounted and rotary types and they are used to improve precision, safety and efficiency in industries such as aerospace, automotive, rail and manufacturing, for tasks such as drivetrain analysis, as well as engine efficiency.
