KNIPEX Crimping Tools
KNIPEX crimping tools are also known as 'KNIPEX crimping pliers'. These hand-operated crimping tools are designed to crimp wire connectors, such as bootlace ferrules, cable lugs and butt connectors, onto wires to create a secure mechanical and electrical connection.
Many KNIPEX crimping tools feature a ratchet mechanism, which helps the operator ensure that the full crimping cycle has been completed before the tool releases. This also helps apply consistent pressure to each crimp performed by the tool.
KNIPEX crimping tools are widely used across many trades, including by electricians, telecoms technicians working with RJ11, RJ12 and RJ45 plugs, and solar installers crimping MC4 connectors.
