Ingersoll Rand Random Orbit Sanders
Ingersoll Rand random orbit sanders are power tools that move a sanding pad in both rotary and orbital motions and are designed to remove material, smooth surfaces and prepare workpieces for painting, coating or finishing.
Random orbit sanders are used where a controlled surface finish is required, on materials such as sheet metal, wood, composites, fibreglass, paint and body filler. The random orbit motion helps distribute abrasive contact across the surface and reduce visible swirl marks compared with a purely rotary sanding action.
Ingersoll Rand random orbit sanders provide free speeds up to 15,000 RPM and are commonly used by automotive body shops, metalworkers, fabricators, woodworkers and aerospace technicians.
