Ingersoll Rand Air Sanders
Ingersoll Rand air sanders are pneumatic power tools designed to remove material, smooth surfaces and prepare workpieces for painting, coating or finishing.
Air sanders use compressed air to drive an internal motor that moves the fitted sanding pad at high speed. Depending on the design, the pad can rotate or move in a random orbital pattern at speeds up to 15,000 RPM. The Ingersoll Rand range includes air sanders that can hold 75mm or 150mm sanding discs, with selected vacuum-ready models allowing sanding dust to be extracted through and around the pad.
Ingersoll Rand air sanders are commonly used by automotive body shops, metalworkers, fabricators, painters and decorators, carpenters and joiners.
