Tubular Cable Lugs

A tubular cable lug is an electrical connector with a tube-shaped barrel that accepts the stripped conductor and a flat palm with a fixing hole that is designed to terminate cables so they can be bolted to connection points, such as panels, busbars, transformers and battery terminals.
Tubular cable lugs are often shorter than many other cable lug types, making them useful where space, material efficiency or cost are important. They are crimped onto the cable using a suitable crimping tool and die to create a reliable, permanent mechanical and electrical bond.
They are widely used by electrical engineers in the renewable energy, telecommunications, automotive, marine and manufacturing sectors.
