Stainless Steel Cable Lugs
A stainless steel cable lug is a wire connector that is resistant to corrosion from salt, acid and chemicals. Stainless steel cable lugs are used to terminate cable to connectors where corrosion could be a factor, such as for marine equipment or on chemical works and solar farms.
Stainless steel lugs are crimped to cable to create a permanent mechanical and electrical bond, and are used by electrical engineers on offshore rigs because they resist saltwater corrosion, as well as in chemical plants due to the fact they can withstand and operate around chemicals and high temperatures.
