A Jigsaw is portable power saw that is used to cut circular (or non-straight) lines into wood, thin metal, plastic and ceramic. It has a blade that goes up and down, that enables the operator to cut extremely accurately and with control, which makes jigsaws very popular with kitchen fitters, joiners and carpenters.
