Reciprocating Saws
A reciprocating saw, also known as a sabre saw, is a handheld power saw with a straight blade that moves rapidly backwards and forwards in a push-pull motion. This allows it to cut through a wide range of materials, including wood, timber with nails, plastic, plasterboard, metal pipe, conduit, steel, aluminium, branches and some masonry materials, depending on the blade fitted.
Reciprocating saws are commonly used when fast, rough or restricted-access cutting is required, such as in demolition, renovation, construction, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping and general maintenance.
