Step Drill Bits
Step drill bits are also known as 'cone drill bits' because of their shape, which have steps on them and increase in diameter, enabling the operator to drill multiple hole sizes with the same drill bit. Step drill bits are used in materials such as sheet metal, wood and plastic to drill new holes or enlarge existing holes, which makes them popular with joiners, electricians, aerospace engineers, HVAC engineers and plumbers.
