Arbors
An arbor, also known as a 'mandrel', is an adaptor that connects a hole saw to a drill chuck so that the drill’s rotation can be transferred to the hole saw.
Many hole saw arbors feature a pilot drill bit, which helps centre the cut and guide the hole saw through the material, preventing the hole saw from skipping across the surface when starting the cut.
Arbors are an essential accessory for anyone drilling holes with a hole saw, including electricians, plumbers, HVAC engineers and joiners.
