Klauke Side Cutters
Klauke side cutters are hand-operated cutting pliers with angled cutting edges designed to cut electrical wire, cable conductors and other metal wires, such as copper and aluminium.
They have hardened cutting surfaces that shear through the material, while handle lengths of up to 240mm and different leverage designs allow the tool to be matched to lighter precision work or tougher wire-cutting tasks.
Klauke side cutters are available in VDE-insulated options for operators working near live electrical components up to 1,000V, as well as compact electronics versions that are ESD-safe and have a surface resistance of 1 to 100 MΩ.
Klauke side cutters are commonly used by electrical engineers, panel builders, electronics technicians, cable assemblers and DIYers.
