Bench Mounted Crimping Tools
A bench mounted crimping tool is a power tool that is in a fixed location or is stationary, and designed to crimp cable connectors, such as cable lugs or butt connectors.
Bench mounted crimping tools are generally hydraulic or pneumatically powered and are ideal for jobs where there is a need for repetitive crimping from a fixed location, which can increase crimping efficiency, as well as reduce repetitive strain.
They are also commonly used on heavier cables, due to the stability a bench mounted crimper offers and are used by wire harness manufacturers in the defence, automotive, marine and aviation sectors, as well as by electricians and electrical engineers for bulk crimping tasks.
