Transformer Cable Lugs

A transformer cable lug is a heavy-duty electrical connector typically used to terminate large-diameter cables onto transformers, busbars or battery terminals, where a secure, high-current connection is essential.
Transformer cable lugs have a flat palm with either a two-hole or four-hole design for bolting the lug to the connection point, which helps to ensure even load distribution, minimises resistance and heat build-up, and provides mechanical stability in high-vibration environments.
Transformer lugs are widely used in the renewable energy sector, as well as in data centres, the rail sector and by contractors working on power distribution networks.
