C Crimp Connectors
A C-Crimp Connector is a wire connector that is also known as a 'C-Type Branch Clamp' or a 'C-Sleeve'. C-crimp connectors are designed to connect two bare copper cables (stranded or solid), which are then crimped to form a permanent mechanical and electrical bond.
C-crimp connectors are made from high-quality copper to reduce resistance and are given their name because they look like the letter 'C', before they are crimped and compressed around copper cables. They are widely used by electricians for use on earthing and grounding systems, as well as for tapping-off power lines.
