C Crimp Connectors
A C-crimp connector is also known as a 'C-type branch clamp' or a 'C-sleeve', and is an electrical crimp connector used to join, splice or branch compatible conductors by compressing a metal connector around the conductor. These connectors are commonly used where a permanent, low-profile connection is needed between wires, earth bonds or cable assemblies.
The connector is fitted using a suitable crimping tool and die, which apply controlled pressure to compress the connector around the conductor and form a permanent mechanical and electrical bond.
Depending on the connector design, C-crimp connectors may be used for in-line joints, tap (branch) connections, bonding leads or repair work in electrical systems and wire harnesses.
C-crimp connectors are widely used by electricians, panel builders, cable assembly technicians, maintenance engineers and automotive or industrial wiring specialists where reliable crimped conductor connections are required.
