Bandsaw Blades

A bandsaw blade is a long, continuous loop of toothed metal that runs around the wheels of a bandsaw, providing a constant cutting motion through materials such as wood, metal, plastic and composites, depending on the blade type and machine being used.

Bandsaw blades are used in woodworking shops, metal fabrication, engineering, manufacturing and maintenance environments for straight cuts, curved cuts, contour cutting, resawing and cutting stock to length.

When selecting a bandsaw blade, finer-toothed blades are usually better for thinner materials and cleaner cuts, while coarser-toothed blades are better for thicker materials and faster cutting. Blade width, tooth pitch and blade material should also be matched to the bandsaw, material and application.
