Jigsaws

A jigsaw is a portable power saw used for cutting curved, shaped and irregular lines in materials such as plywood, MDF, chipboard, laminate, plastic and thin metal, depending on the blade fitted.

Jigsaws use a narrow, straight blade that moves rapidly up and down, allowing the operator to make controlled cuts, cut-outs and detailed profiles with good accuracy.

They are popular with kitchen fitters, joiners, carpenters and DIYers for cutting shapes in sheet materials, trimming panels, creating sink or hob openings in worktops, making notches and cutting around obstacles.
