Triple Square Screw Sockets
A triple-square screw socket is also known as an 'XZN screw socket' or 'multi-point screw socket' and is used with a torque wrench, ratchet or similar square drive tool to fasten/unfasten triple-square nuts, bolts and screws, which are characterised by a 12-point star shaped pattern on the centre of their head. Triple-square screw sockets are used in the automotive and aviation sectors, where high torque is required to be applied to fasteners.
