Bi-Hex Sockets
A bi-hex socket is a hand tool that tightens/loosens fasteners and is sometimes known as a 'double hex' socket. At one end it has a 12-point design, which is used to grip the corners of a fastener, such as a nut or bolt and at the other end is a square drive that enables it to connect to a tool, like a torque wrench or ratchet, to provide leverage when tightening or loosening the fastener.
Bi-hex sockets are widely used by mechanics, plumbers, aviation engineers, maintenance professionals, joiners and DIYers.
