Speed Braces

A speed brace is also be known as a 'speeder brace' or 'speeder' and is a hand tool that has a crank-shaped handle. It has a square drive for sockets to attach to it, so that fasteners such as nuts and bolts, can be tightened or untightened quickly.

The working radius of a speed brace is generally smaller than that of a ratchet or torque wrench, which makes it ideal for use in tight spaces. Speed braces are used by car mechanics, aviation technicians, maintenence technicians and DIYers.
