Miniature 8-Step Adjustable Crimp Tool that is qualified to MIL-DTL- 22520/2-01, 8-step, 8-indent precision crimp tool.

This tool is the equivalent to the Astro 615717 Miniature Step Adjustable Crimp Tool.

This tool is suitable for many types of contact including 2-28 and wire sizes 20-32 AWG. Various positioners are available for this crimp tool. It is lightweight and easy to operate, producing an accurate crimp with each use. It includes a positive ratchet that requires the completion of the crimp cycle to ensure the integrity of each crimp.

    Is this tool supplied with 12months warranty and declaration/certificate of conformity.. Answer:
    The items does come with a general certificate of conformity and the warranty is valid for 90 days on this crimp tool.

    Cleaning is said to be done with a small wire brush, is alcohol used too? As for the cleaning, is it done when the crimp is completely open, half closed, or pre-crimp position? The wire brush does not damage the crimp teeth does it? Answer:
    A wire brush can be used when the crimp is completely open and half open, as long as you are very gentle when cleaning the tool. The wire brush should be used on its own with no cleaning solution and it should be used gently to just lightly brush off any debris.
