Bosch Backing Pads & Sanding Plates

Bosch backing pads and sanding plates are accessories designed to provide a stable connection between the power tool and the abrasive or polishing accessory. They support sanding discs, polishing pads and other compatible surface-finishing products during use with sanders and polishers.

The Bosch range includes sanding plates that use the Starlock mounting system, ranging from RT2 models, which are suitable for coarse material-removal applications, right through to the finer RT10 models, which are designed for finer sanding on materials such as hardwood and softwood. Bosch sanding plates are commonly coated with a carbide RIFF abrasive surface, which is designed for high wear resistance and a long service life.
