Backing Pads
A backing pad is an attachment for sanding and polishing tools that acts as a base plate for abrasive discs to be attached to, enabling an increase in airflow behind the disc, whilst also removing debris from its face, to increase the lifespan of the disc.
Backing pads protect the power tool by absorbing some of the vibration that is created from sanding and polishing, and are used by a wide range of trades people when carrying out polishing and sanding work, such as construction workers, vehicle detail technicians, metal fabricators and marine surface finishers.
