Solderless Connectors

A solderless connector is a wire connector that is punched from a sheet of copper and then bent into shape, with the crimping area being hard soldered. This type of connector is connected to the cable by being crimped, to form a permanent electrical bond.

Solderless wire connectors are used mainly on stranded wires, in applications where they might be exposed to vibration, such as in the rail and aviation sectors, but they also used in control cabinets.
