Butt Connectors
A butt connector is a wire connector that is also known as a 'through connector' or 'butt splice', and is designed to connect two wire ends together (either stranded or solid wires) by crimping the butt connector to them, in order to create a permanent mechanical and electrical bond between the wires.
Butt connectors are used to repair or extend electrical circuits, in the automotive, marine and renewable energy sectors, but they are also used widely for general electrical work.
