Ratchet Torque Wrench Ends
A ratchet torque wrench insert has a square drive and connects a torque wrench to a socket, so that torque can be applied to a fastener, such as a nut or bolt, without the torque wrench needing to be repositioned after each turn. This is because of the ratcheting mechanism in the insert, which enables the operator to turn the tool in one direction, whilst rotating freely in the other direction.
Ratchet torque wrench ends are ideal for use when torque needs to be applied to fasteners in tight or awkward spaces, due to a limited swing arc, and are used by automotive mechanics, aviation engineers and anyone else that needs to apply torque to a fastener in a tight space.
