Manual Torque Screwdrivers

A manual torque screwdriver is also known as a 'hand torque screwdriver', and is a precision torque tool that is powered by the operator to provide controlled and repeatable amounts of torque, to tighten screws and other small fasteners.

The operator selects the torque that is required for tightening the fastener and when the torque is reached, the torque screwdriver will either click or slip, depending on which type of mechanism is in it. 

Hand operated torque screwdrivers are used when precision, repeatability and portability are crucial, by bicycle repair technicians, automotive mechanics, maintenance technicians and electronics technicians.
