Detail Sanders
A detail sander is also known as a 'mouse sander' or 'corner sander' and is a triangular shaped, powered hand tool, which has an abrasive material like sandpaper attached to it, that is used for smoothing hard to reach areas that other sanders can't reach, like the corners of door frames or window frames.
The small and triangular size of a detail sander makes it easy to manoeuvre precisely, and its pointed tip makes it the ideal tool to smooth materials like wood and composite in tight 90-degree corners.
