Belt Sanders
A belt sander is also known as a 'strip sander' and is a powered tool that spins a continuous loop of sanding belt or polishing belt to rapidly remove weld marks and seams, rust and paint. It is an aggressive tool that can level a large area, like when sanding a table top and also enables the operator to sand with the wood grain, to achieve a more professional finish.
Belt sanders are used by metalworkers, woodworkers, automotive body shop technicians and aerospace engineers.
