Swaging Dies

A swaging die is used with a compatible swaging tool to deform a swage sleeve, ferrule or fitting securely around wire rope or a cable assembly.

Swaging dies have a profile or cavity that matches the size and shape of the component being swaged, such as a metal ferrule or cable terminal, and when pressure is applied by a swaging tool, the die forces the component to deform around the cable, creating a tight mechanical connection.

Swaging dies are widely used in the aerospace, marine, rigging and medical manufacturing sectors.
