Ratchet Spanner Sets
A ratchet spanner set is also known as a 'ratchet wrench set' and contains an array or ratchet spanners in different sizes, which are generally packaged in a pouch, foam tray or tool holder for safe storage.
Ratchet spanners have a ratchet mechanism in a multi-toothed head, which is designed to turn a fastener in one direction, but not in the opposite direction. This enables the operator to turn fasteners with just one hand and with a flick of the switch next to the head or by turning the spanner around, the fastener can then be turned in the opposite direction.
Ratchet spanner sets contain a wide range of sizes to cater for different sized fasteners, which is why they are commonly found is mechanics workshops, but they are also used by HVAC technicians and plumbers, as well as DIYers for fastening jobs on bolts around the home.
