Open-Ended Spanner Sets
An open-ended spanner set is also known as an 'open end wrench set' and is an array of open-ended spanners of varying sizes. Open-ended spanners have U-shaped or flared end that grips the edges of bolts and fasteners to tighten and untighten them.
Open end spanners are ideal for use on fasteners where space is tight, because their U-shape design makes it easy to attach or remove the spanner from the fastener quickly.
Open end spanner sets are generally packaged in a pouch or foam tray for safe storage and contain an array of spanner sizes, which makes them popular with DIYers and can also be found in car repair shops.
