Torx Screwdriver Bits
Torx bits have a 6-point star shaped pattern on their tip and are used with drills, ratchets and electric screwdrivers to tighten or loosen Torx head screws. The design of Torx screwdriver bits allows for more torque to be applied, with less chance of cam-out when compared to Phillips and slotted screwdriver bits on their appropriate screw head.
Torx bits are used widely in industries such as electronics, as well as bicyle and automotive repair.
