Thermal Wire Strippers
A thermal wire stripper has heated wire stripping blades that remove insulation from electrical wire, without damaging the underlying conductor.
Thermal wire strippers are able to remove insulation without damaging the conductor, because they soften the insulation so that the operator can gently pull it away, rather than cutting the insulation like other forms of wire strippers do and increase the risk of nicking the wire.This makes them an ideal tool for stripping sensitive wires that are covered by Teflon (PTFE) or Kapton, which can both be difficult to remove with standard mechanical wire strippers.
Heated wire strippers are used in sectors where precision and reliability are required, such as aerospace, medical device manufacturing and electronics.
