A coaxial cable stripper is a hand tool that has pre-set blades, which are designed to strip off the outer sheath, braided shielding and dielectric insulation from coaxial cable, in one controlled operation without damaging the conductor.
Coaxial cable is commonly used for television, broadband, CCTV, radio frequency (RF) and telecommunications systems, which is stripped so that F-type, BNC or SMA connectors can be crimped on to the end.
Coaxial cable strippers are used by telecommunications engineers, CCTV technicians and audio/video installers.
