Electric Sanders
An electric sander is a power tool that connects to an electric mains lead and moves an abrasive surface underneath it, such as sandpaper, to smooth down surfaces like wood, metal and plastic.
Because electric sanding tools don't use batteries and are powered at the mains, it means they can be used for prolonged periods of time, which is why they are widely used by carpenters and furniture makers, however the operator is restricted by the length of the power cord.
