Sanding Sheets

A sanding sheet is also known as 'sandpaper' and is an abrasive tool that can be used by hand with a sanding block or with a powered sanding tool to smoothen and prepare many materials, such as wood, plastic, metal and composites.

Sandpaper comes in various sizes to suit the needs of the job, as well as in various grits, with lower number grits being coarser and higher numbers grits being finer. They can be made from materials such as aluminium oxide, silicon carbide or if the sanding job is heavy duty and lots of material is being removed, then use a ceramic sanding sheet. 

Sanding sheets are used by decorators, DIYers, furniture refinishers, metalworkers and woodworkers.
