Air Nutrunners

An air-powered nutrunner is also known as a 'pneumatic nutrunner', and is a powered fastening tool that uses compressed air to deliver accurate and repeatable torque when tightening nuts, bolts and other threaded fasteners.

Air nutrunners are designed for assembly and production work where repeated fixings need to be tightened efficiently and with controlled torque. They are used for prolonged fastening tasks, because they are generally lighter than other types of nutrunners due to having fewer internal components, which lessens the fatigue for the operator and they are also less likely to overheat when compared to battery or electric-powered versions.

An air nutrunner is commonly used in the oil and gas, automotive assembly, aerospace manufacturing and maintenance sectors, as well as in renewable energy and on production lines.
