Electric Screwdrivers

An electric screwdriver is also known as a 'cordless screwdriver' and is a handheld power tool that uses an electric motor to drive screws, enabling faster screwdriving than a handheld screwdriver.

Electric screwdrivers are optimised for fastening tasks by providing the operator with enhanced torque control, forward and reverse functions for driving and removing screws, and are ideal for use in tight or hard-to-reach spaces.

They are used by DIYers for assembling furniture or decking, but are also used by professionals who work at a high rate, such as workers on a production line. Electric screwdrivers improve screwing efficiency, whilst reducing repetitive strain injuries that can be caused by using a handheld screwdriver over longer periods of time.
