Air Drills
An air drill is also known as a 'pneumatic drill' and is a power tool that works using a compressed air system to drive its internal motor to bore circular holes in materials such as wood, metal and plastic.
Air drills are widely used in sectors where drilling is carried out for longer periods of time, because they are lighter than corded or cordless drills, due to having fewer internal components, which reduces operator fatigue, and because they are less likely to overheat, which can happen with electrically powered tools that are used over extended timeframes.
Air drills are used in industries where reliability and continuous performance are required, such as in manufacturing and on assembly lines, as well as in the aerospace, shipbuilding, construction and metalworking sectors.
