Hydraulic Cable Cutters

A hydraulic cable cutter is a heavy duty cutting tool that uses hydraulic fluid to create high levels of pressure, in order to drive the cutting blades on the tool through various types of cable, such as copper cable, aluminium cable and also armoured cable, which is also known as steel wire armored cable (SWA), as well as aluminium conductor steel-reinforced cable (ACSR), that is generally used underground and on power networks.

Hydraulic cable cutters are used by operators who are cutting thick gauge cables over longer periods of time, such as utlity workers operating on power distribution and telecommunication networks, as well as electricians that work in commercial and industrial settings.
