Pipe Wrenches

A pipe wrench is a hand tool that is also known as a 'Stillson wrench' or 'pipe spanner' and is a heavy duty spanner with hardened, serrated jaws, that is designed to tighten or loosen cylindrical pipes and fittings.

This type of spanner is known for its L-shaped jaw, which can be adjusted via a nut that is normally located at the top of the handle near the jaws and provides a secure grip on the pipe or fitting the operator is working on.

Pipe wrenches are widely used by plumbers, HVAC technicians, mechanics and DIYers.
