Circlip Pliers
Circlip pliers are also known as 'retaining ring pliers' or 'snap ring pliers', and are hand tools that have specially shaped tips that are designed to fit into the holes around circlips (also known as 'retaining rings').
Circlip pliers enable the operator to compress a retaining ring (internal circlip pliers) to fit inside a bore, or expand a circlip (external circlip pliers) to fit over a shaft. Circlip pliers are used widely across many sectors, from those who work on engines and mechanisms, including mechanics and engineers in industries like aerospace and automotive, to operators working on turbines and on general industrial machinery.
