Cable cutters are manual/hand held cutting tools that are designed to cut a variety of cable types, including dead and live cable, from soft copper, through to steel cable. Cable cutters have sharpened blades and when the handles are squeezed, pressure is applied to the blades, which will cleanly cut through the material they are holding.
