Allen Keys

An Allen key is also known as a 'hex key' or even an 'Allen wrench', and is an L-shaped hand-held wrench, which generally has a hexagon (six sides) shaped body and ends, although there are also Torx, Phillips and ball-ends available.

Allen keys are made from steel to ensure they are hard wearing and are ideal for any tool box due to their versatility. They are commonly used by DIYers on flatpack furniture, bicycle maintenance and on taps, but are also widely used by people in the mechanical and construction industries.
