Cable Ties
A cable tie can also be known as a 'zip tie' or 'tie wrap' and is designed to securely hold items together, like wires and cables. They are low cost but have limited tensile strength, and should only be used for low weight cable bundling, which is a way of organising multiple cables into a singular unit.
If the operator is using cable ties for cable bundling on heavy-duty, high-vibration or safety-critical applications, then we would recommend using steel banding straps, which have higher levels of tensile strength and are more resistant to extreme temperatures, UV exposure and mechanical stress.
