The Daylight Omega 5 Magnifying Lamp is a modern, ergonomically designed magnifying lamp with a large 12.5cm (5”) diameter, 3 diopter (1.75X), lightweight glass lens and high power LEDs with two brightness levels for clear viewing.
The internal spring arm on this lamp allows for accurate positioning.
The Daylight Omega 5 lamp comes with two 12.7cm (5”) diameter lenses in 3 diopter (1.75X) and 5 diopter (2.25X).

I want to use tools to etch a plate whilst it is under magnification. I will be sitting down doing this. Will this model give me enough depth of field to draw onto the plate with a tool, and enough magnification to be able to draw finely on plate in a way I cant do it with normal eyesight? Answer:
Yes, this would be the best option for you as it comes with 2 lenses included. We would recommend swapping the original 1.75X and using the 2.25X for your application. - Asked by Valerie

I have a floor stand that I wish to slot this into. Is this possible? Answer:
It would depend which floor stand you have, i.e. Daylight or an alternative manufacturer, as well as what diameter hole is in the stand as to whether it would fit. The diameter of the fixing on the lamp is 12mm. - Asked by Peter

There is what appears to be a plastic lens cover in the box, how do you fit on? Answer:

Unfortunately, there isn't a 12 diopter lens for this particular lamp. There are 12 diopter lenses available for the lamps with the following part numbers: D25130, D25100 and D22080.
