Bahco tool kits designed and supplied by Heamar are to be used by Pennant Training Plc clients for the maintenance and repair of Virtual Reality Flying Control Rigs.
Pennant Training has a growing portfolio of virtual reality products used in Defence training from aircraft marshalling to parachute trainers and virtual walkabouts of military vessels. The 14 kits supplied by Heamar will be used to repair the Basic Flying Control Rig Trainer.

The previous tool kits in use contained a range of tools from different suppliers, some of which were low quality and lacked organisation in the box. What should have been a simple repair job would often take a long time as the repairer couldn’t easily find the appropriate tools for the task taking up valuable training time.
The new HTK1007 kits supplied by Heamar contain a range of Bahco tools in a metal Bahco carrying case providing a quality tool at a competitive price point. All the tools are now encased in specialist tool control foam so trainers can quickly see where the tools go and if one is missing.
Crucially, Heamar has also supplied etching to the tools meaning the tools are all numbered and can easily be referred to from the instruction manual included in the kit to get the job done quickly. This means more time can be spent on training and less time on repairs.

These Heamar kits have been shipped to EASA 146 accredited maintenance training establishments in the Middle East with future orders planned for other Pennant clients using the Basic Flying Control Rig Trainer.
