TE Connectivity, a technology company that designs and manufactures connectivity and sensor products for a variety of industries, purchased the new Bahco E72 Tool Storage Hub after seeing it demonstrated by Heamar at the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics exhibition earlier this year.
The Bahco E72 storage hub and included Bahco tools will be used to deliver a contract with global aerospace and defence company, General Dynamics at TE Connectivity’s wire harness production facility in Swindon.
The New Bahco Storage Hubs - Developed in Response to Customer Feedback
Developed in response to market needs, the next generation Bahco E72 storage hub is specially made for heavy duty performance and includes innovative safety features. The innovative, strong case is a key element of the core of the E72 storage hub along with rounded corners, shock-absorbing corner bumpers and a new locking system with a round key to protect the E72 storage hub against theft. It comes in a range of colours and drawer configurations and can be customised with side-mounted accessories.

On special promotion at the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics exhibition, the E72 Storage Hub tool kit purchased by TE Connectivity includes five drawers, three of which are foamed with 147 Bahco tools offering a huge saving as opposed to purchasing the tools and hub separately.
“Heamar already supply us with specialist Mil-Spec tooling so it made sense to look to them for high quality general tooling,” said Rob Quick, Production Manager at TE Connectivity, “We were impressed with the new Bahco Storage Hub when we saw it at the exhibition and were delighted to purchase the full tool kit for what would normally be the price of the tool trolley alone.”
